```{index} single: core_bools (JSON::PP) ``` ```{index} single: JSON::PP::core_bools ``` # core_bools Decode `true` and `false` to Perl's core booleans, `!!1` and `!!0`. ## Synopsis ```perl my $data = JSON::PP->new->core_bools->decode('[true]'); builtin::is_bool($data->[0]); # true ``` ## What you get back The object; `core_bools(0)` goes back to `$JSON::PP::true` and `$JSON::PP::false`. `unblessed_bool` is the same method, and core booleans always encode as `true` and `false`.
