```{index} single: flush_cache (Memoize) ``` ```{index} single: Memoize::flush_cache ``` # flush_cache Empty a memoized function's caches: `flush_cache('name')` or `flush_cache(\&wrapper)`. Both the scalar- and the list-context cache are cleared; the function stays memoized and starts refilling on the next call. Croaks `... not memoized` for a function that is not currently memoized, and `Tied cache hash for ... does not support flushing` when a `HASH` cache is tied to a class without a `CLEAR` method. Not exported by default: `use Memoize qw(flush_cache)`.
