```{index} single: unmemoize (Memoize) ``` ```{index} single: Memoize::unmemoize ``` # unmemoize Undo `memoize`: `unmemoize('name')` or `unmemoize(\&wrapper)`. Reinstalls the original function under the name the wrapper was installed at and returns a code reference to the original. The cache is discarded with the wrapper; a wrapper reference you still hold keeps working but can no longer be flushed or unmemoized. Croaks `Could not unmemoize function ..., because it was not memoized to begin with` otherwise. Not exported by default: `use Memoize qw(unmemoize)`.
