```{index} single: FLT_ROUNDS (POSIX) ``` ```{index} single: POSIX::FLT_ROUNDS ``` # FLT_ROUNDS The current rounding direction as C's `FLT_ROUNDS` reports it. ## What you get back `1` for round-to-nearest, which is the default. The other values are `0` toward zero, `2` toward +infinity, `3` toward -infinity. ## Differences from upstream None. `FLT_ROUNDS` is a FUNCTION here, not a constant, because it is one upstream too: it takes no arguments and raises a usage error if given any, and its value tracks `fesetround` instead of being fixed once and for all.
