```{index} single: store (Peta::FFI) ``` ```{index} single: Peta::FFI::store ``` # store Write a value of a type at an address. ## Synopsis ```perl Peta::FFI::store($ptr, "i32", 42); Peta::FFI::store($ptr, "{My::Point}", My::Point->new(x => 1)); ``` The numbers, `b`, `o`, `D`, `cf`/`cd` (`[re, im]`), `T[N]` from an array reference and `{Class}` from a record of that class. A string is not stored: memory C keeps would point into a Perl value that moves - `alloc` and `poke` its bytes, and store the address as `o`.
