The values are the original list elements. ## EXAMPLE ```perl $hashref = abbrev qw(list edit send abort gripe); %hash = abbrev qw(list edit send abort gripe); abbrev $hashref, qw(list edit send abort gripe); abbrev(*hash, qw(list edit send abort gripe)); ```
