langinfo#
langinfo($item) - the string the current locale gives for one nl_langinfo item code.
$item is one of the constants this module exports - CODESET, D_FMT, T_FMT, DAY_1 .. DAY_7, MON_1 .. MON_12, RADIXCHAR, THOUSEP, CRNCYSTR, YESEXPR and the rest. The answer comes from the locale in effect, so it follows setlocale; RADIXCHAR and THOUSEP come from the underlying LC_NUMERIC locale even though Perl keeps the radix a dot. A string that is UTF-8 in a UTF-8 locale comes back with the UTF-8 flag on. Called with no argument it uses $_. An item the C library has nothing for yields the empty string.
