pty_allocate#
A new pseudo-terminal: its master and slave descriptors and the slave’s name.
Synopsis#
my ($master_fd, $slave_fd, $name) = IO::Pty::pty_allocate();
What you get back#
Three values, both descriptors above 2 - or an empty list when no way of getting a pty worked. IO::Pty->new calls it; with use warnings each way that failed warns, and with $IO::Tty::DEBUG true each one tried is named on stderr.
