max_depth

The deepest nesting of arrays and objects that encode and decode accept.

Synopsis

my $json = JSON::PP->new->max_depth(16);

What you get back

The object. Without an argument the limit is 2**31; deeper data dies “json text or perl structure exceeds maximum nesting level (max_depth set too low?)”. get_max_depth returns the value as it was set.
