set_sv_to_null_pdl

Turn an existing scalar into a null ndarray.

PDL::set_sv_to_null_pdl($sv);

The scalar is made to refer to a freshly created ndarray with no dimensions and no data, as PDL->null returns; whatever it held before is replaced.

Deserialisation is what this exists for. PDL::IO::Storable gets an empty blessed stub back from Storable and needs to make a real ndarray out of it before filling in the dimensions and data.
