symbol

The address of a symbol - a function or a variable - in a library.

Synopsis

my $environ = Peta::FFI::symbol($libc, "environ");   # char ***
my $first = Peta::FFI::peek_cstr(Peta::FFI::fetch(Peta::FFI::fetch($environ, "o"), "o"));

$lib is a dlopen handle, or undef for everything loaded. Croaks when the library has no such symbol.
