SetReadMode

Put a terminal handle into one of the modes 0 to 5.

How it works

The numeric half of ReadMode, which maps the names (restore, normal, noecho, cbreak, raw, ultra-raw) to 0 to 5. The first change of a descriptor saves its settings; mode 0 restores them and forgets them, so the next change saves afresh. Any other number dies “ReadMode N is not implemented on this architecture.”.
