Time

Namespace containing the following modules:

• Time::HiRes - High-resolution timers and sleeps: microsecond gettimeofday, sub-second sleep, alarm, and POSIX clocks.

• Time::Local - Efficiently compute time from local and GMT time

• Time::Piece - Date and time objects: use Time::Piece makes localtime and gmtime return an object with accessors for every field, formatting and parsing, comparison, and arithmetic with the durations of Time::Seconds.

• Time::Seconds - a simple API to convert seconds to other date values

• Time::gmtime - by-name interface to Perl’s built-in gmtime() function

• Time::localtime - by-name interface to Perl’s built-in localtime() function

• Time::tm - internal object used by Time::gmtime and Time::localtime
